Practical questions about disasters:

  1. What would be the incentive for stablecoin companies to send their respective stablecoins to disaster victims?
Answer: Purely organic publicity — this would be big news.
  2. How will stablecoin companies know the blockchain addresses of the victims? How can they avoid being scammed?
Answer: Pictures can show addresses and prove location, but only if taken from a TV camera in a media helicopter. Cellphone pictures can be difficult to verify.
  3. What if internet is dead in the disaster area?
Answer: Cellphone devices and cellphone towers are now so ubiquitous that cellphone internet is the last thing that dies in a disaster area.
