Instead of “target price” I would use the term “purchasing power”. If, by target price, you mean price against USD, then this can only be viable in the beginning, while USD itself is stable. Purchasing power, on the other hand, is a good permanent target because it pertains to how other economic items are priced with respect the stablecoin itself, and not relative to any other currency. Eventually, stablecoins should have their own, separate CPIs.
